Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde merge worlds at TEFFEST 2019

Over 800 guests, including top entertainment celebrities, registered to attend the maiden edition of The Entertainment Fair and Festival (TEFFEST), held on November 29 in Lagos.

Convener of the festival, star actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, stated at the event, chaired by the Chief Executive of Google LLC, Mr. Craig Fenton, that TEFFEST is a festival and funfair aimed at promoting the possibilities in the business of entertainment and class innovations around entertainment.

The event formally kicked off with the Young Entertainers Conference, where speaker after speaker gave useful insight on the practice and business of entertainment.

There were insights from accomplished practitioners, such as the Chairman of the Audio Visual Rights Society of Nigeria (AVRS), Mr. Mahmood Alli Balogun, who spoke on ‘Collective right for audio-visual practitioners.’

Nollywood actor, Alex Ekubo, and ace comedian, Atayota Akpobome, aka Ali Baba, spoke on ‘Mentorship,’ while actress, Bisola Aiyeola, spoke on ‘Breaking into the Entertainment Industry.’

There were breakout sessions between the Young Entertainers Conference and Veteran Conference, a business/industry seminar, where Okechukwu Madu of the Bank of Industry (BoI) made a presentation on accessing finance.

Celebrities at the well-attended event include Frank Edoho, Moses Inwang, Khafi Kareem, Enyinna Nwigwe, Monalisa Chinda, Osas Ighodaro, Obi Asika, Toke Makinwa, Joke Silva and Nse Ikpe-Etim.

There are over 20 exhibitors from the insurance, investment, talent management, technology, music, film, games, medical, food, electronics, star merchandise, finance services, aviation, tourism and many more companies.
