Only one or two screen celebrities said it was a mix of work and pleasure for them. The bulk of them said the Christmas holiday afforded them the opportunity to reflect on the season, spend time with family and look forward to a prosperous new year.

Some top screen celebrities share their Christmas moments and plans for this year.

I spent Christmas with family and friends. I also checked out four things out of the six to-do list of this year, which is to be more and to do more, to keep making and investing in projects I believe in.

And of course, projections for this year would be to improve more on my productions and ensure I tick out my to-do list by the end of the year.

Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD)
Christmas was with family, as usual. Was cold, but we managed to go out and had a family dinner with close friends and watched the Christmas game between Lakers and Warriors.

Last year was awesome for me, career wise. Mr. X started running and also I recorded two seasons. RMD Production Studio is up and running.

So, this year would be for consolidation. I would be doing a major movie and television project, hitting the ground running actually and hoping I would finish stronger than I did last year.

Christmas was exciting. I spent it with family and some fans that indulged me, as I started an online ‘We are More’ campaign to debunk our tribal stereotypes.

Last year was filled with enlightenment, travels in Africa and new frontiers discovered. I achieved a reasonable amount of the goals I set for myself and looking ahead into this year, career wise, there have been a lot of conversations ongoing and all things being well, I would be progressive in front and behind the camera.

I spent Christmas with my husband and children and then we went to my mother’s place for a yummy late lunch.

Last year was phenomenal for me, professionally. I received great validation for my work by winning the AMAA for best actress and I scored major endorsements with Pepsi, H20h, Nestle Milo and MTN Xravalue.

I worked very hard on Castle and Castle series, New Money and currently on the box office smash hit, Chief Daddy.

Another highlight was my representing Nollywood in Hollywood at USC Film School in California, United States (US). The cherry on top was my turning 40 and it is all to the glory of God.

This year is going to be a year of taking charge in every aspect of my life, so help me God.

I want to appreciate my supportive family, fans, media and management.

I can only thank God for His goodness to me. Last year, for me, was one of my best years ever, because God gave me what I asked for, even the one I didn’t ask for.

It was an amazing year for me and I spent my Christmas in the wonderful company of a neighbour, because I didn’t want any guest at all; I needed to rest, as I worked until December 23.

My new year is in the hands of God, my creator and I am nothing, but pencil in His hands. But I know, by the grace of God, that this year would be greater.

Genny Uzoma
Christmas was busy for me. I moved house, so it kept me really busy packing in and decorating.

In terms of work, I would say I had a good year (2018), though it could have been better. I am very optimistic about this year though.

Already, I have some projects lined up for this month. I am hoping that I can also try being behind the camera, in terms of producing, and to keep being in front of it and getting better at it.

I am hoping too that the audience would embrace the Genny Uzoma brand more this year and I promise to put in much more work.

Basically, I would just go with the flow and keep an open mind to whatever comes next.

I spent my holidays working, though not filming. It has been anchoring one event to the other and also featuring in shows. Let us just say I was working and having fun while working, which is why I like my kind of job.

Last year was awesome, I must confess, and God has been faithful. I took some bold steps in the area of my job and beautiful ideas also popped up that would hatch by this year, by the special grace of God.

I am looking forward to launching out with my company, Rufina Entertainment, and to a good year.

I thank my family, colleagues, friends and fans for their support.

I spent Christmas day cooking all day and having fun with all family members.

Last year was a beautiful one. I had a lot of highs and a few lows, as regards work.

I believe this year would be amazing. It feels like it would be a splendid year and new grounds would be broken, career wise.
