Celebrities storm red carpet for the Bling Lagosians premiere

If you were not at the premiere for The Bling Lagosians over the weekend, you missed some of the most stunning, outrageous and over-the-top looks for the year as our favourite celebrities, influencers and stars gathered at Filmhouse, Lekki for the premiere of Bolanle Austen-Peters’ The Bling Lagosians.

With an “Eko For Show” dress code, the premiere was definitely a show-stopper with stars glammed up for the red carpet at the exclusive invitation-only event.

Pulling out all the stops and going over the top was definitely necessary as a major highlight was the sum of N1 million, which was up for grabs to the best-dressed on the night.

The winners at the end of the night were TV personality, Daala Oruwari and fashion stylist, Teni Oluwo (who both took home a prize of N500,000), while the first and second runners up were Beverly Naya (N350,000) and Shaffy Bello (N150,000) respectively.

The movie shows the lifestyle of a Lagos family that is presently living on their past glory. Although they are not as wealthy as they once were, they still want to maintain the lifestyle they used to live, host the talk of town parties, wear the best designers and ride the fastest of cars, even if it means wallowing in debt.
