Moviegoers, who desire quality entertainment, should head to the cinema from August 4, as Biola Alabi’s first fruit as an executive producer is ready and it is smoking hot.

The producer of the popular Nigerian travel food doc-series, Bukas and Joints, last week pulled a quality crowd to the all-glam premiere of her debut movie as a producer, titled, Banana Island Ghost or BIG for short.

The movie premiere was top notch, so too for the movie, which would undoubtedly hit the waiting movie crowd as a well-helmed action packed and entertaining comedy film.

Written and directed by BB Sasore, the movie features Chioma Omeruah, who is popular as Chugirl, and Patrick Diabuah, in lead roles. It also features international superstar Tomiwa Edun, and several Nollywood heavyweights, including Uche Jombo, Saheed Balogun, Ali Nuhu, Bimbo Manuel, Damilola Adegbite, Lala Akindoju and Dorcas Fapson.

In the movie, Ijeoma (Chioma Omeruah) wakes up to find a ghost (Patrick Diabuah) next to her, who has three days to fall in love, as she would do anything to save her father’s house in Banana Island from the bank coming to reclaim it in three days.

Banana Island Ghost (B.I.G), who is the first from a slate of five films by BAM-NEMSIA Pictures, a co-production partnership between Biola Alabi Media (BAM) and Nemsia Films, headed by BB Sasore and Derin Adeyokunnu, opens in theatres on August 4.
