King of comedy, Ali Baba, Uti Nwachukwu, Ayo Thompson and several notable Nigerian entertainers are expected to grace this year’s edition of Genesis Fashion Show 2017 (GFS), tagged, ‘Identity.’

Slated to hold on Monday, December 18 at the prestigious Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos, the annual fashion show, put together by the Teens Ministry of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) City of David Parish, is marking its 4th edition, having recorded successes in the past editions.

It is specifically organised to address indecent dressing among teenagers in the society, while showcasing delectable, trendy designs from some prominent designers in the country that are not revealing, but classy in nature.

This year’s edition is coming with huge participations from the public, following the tremendous success of previous editions.

Organisers are expecting a large number of participants, having witnessed an encouraging well over 1,000 turnout last year.

The fashion fiesta would parade exquisite designs from notable designers, such as Ejiro Amos-Tafiri, Tara Koko and Peter Adebayo, among others.

It would, as usual, create an avenue for budding, young entrepreneurs with a flair for fashion, modelling, photography, media, videography and graphic designs, among other related vocations to showcase their talents.

Organisers have already embarked on designers’ selection/screening of designs, model casting/audition and coaching, under the watchful eyes of creative expert, Mai Atafo, among other prominent participating designers.
