Akin-Olugbade’s son, Dademu, marries Lauretta Fatai Williams on November 19
Prince Dademu Akin-Olugbade, the second son of billionaire Aare Bolu Akin-Olugbade and Chief Ladunni Akin-Olugbade, is set to take his heartthrob of many years, Lauretta Fatai-Williams, as wife in a traditional wedding fixed for November 19, this year in Lagos.
The bride is the grand daughter of the late Justice Fatai-Williams, a former Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN) and daughter of Dr. Allan Fatai-Williams and Mrs. Marie Fatai-Williams, who was an executive at Total Nigeria.
With these prominent families involved in this grand traditional wedding, one would expect nothing short of class, panache and elaborate celebration attended by the movers and shakers of society.
The much-anticipated wedding is billed to take place at Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos before the white wedding in the United Kingdom next year.
It was gathered that the families would soon start dispatching letters of invitation and Aso-Ebi to friends, family and close associates in preparation for the engagement ceremony.
The groom, Dademu, is a United States-trained investment banker, who worked with Merrill Lynch Bank in Los Angeles before returning to Nigeria as an accounting manager in West Africa for Reuters.
He is presently a businessman, while Lauretta is a lawyer.
