­‘Create your world,’ Eunice Atuejide charges Nigerian young women

The Presidential Candidate of National Interest Party in the just concluded general elections, Barrister Eunice Atuejide has charged Nigerian women to rise to the faith of greatness by creating their world and rule in it.

The Presidential Candidate of National Interest Party in the just concluded general elections, Barrister Eunice Atuejide has charged Nigerian women to rise to the faith of greatness by creating their world and rule in it. She made the call when she addressed the audience at the Girl Arise Forum & Concert at Cafe DeAngelo in Uyo on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

The soiree featured a talk session, fashion showcase, spoken word and musical performances by outstanding female acts.The mother of the day was the former Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Welfare, Barr Mrs Mary Ewa who is also the former President of Oron Union Women Wing.

Also present was the Special Assistant to Governor on Student Affairs, Comrade Aquila Akpan, a strategic partner and panelist at the forum.The event was organised in line with the March 8 United Nations’ set date to mark International Women’s Day, the 5 – Star – all women event offered a veritable platform to bring to the fore issues affecting young women and profer solutions to them. The women were placed in the spotlight to share their success stories as a case study and inspiration to others.

In attendance were Female Students Leaders, Entrepreneurs, Lawyers, Beauty Queens, Female Artistes, Female DJs, Models, Actors, Fashion Designers, Make Up Artists, Spoken Word Artistes and Female Journalists/Bloggers amongst others. The author of the book ‘The Girl Who Said I Can’ and mother told the girls and guests not to allow gender to be a limitation to their dreams, saying that girls are first humans before being woman.
