UNILAGIN the face of the growing operational inefficiency in the power generation and worsening electricity outage, the Department of Building, University of Lagos will on Wednesday stage a public lecture on Energy Efficiency and Healthy Building.
 
The lecture to be delivered by an erudite scholar and renowned academician, Prof. Chandra Sekhar of the Department of Building, National University of Singapore, would hold at the Julius Berger Hall, and chaired by the Managing Director, CMB Building Maintenance and Investment Company Limited, Mr. Kelechukwu Mbagwu.
 
Other dignitaries expected include Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Power, Amb. Godknows Igali, Managing Director, Lekki Gardens Estates Limited, Mr. Richard Nyong and Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Rahamon Ade Bello.
 
In the statement signed by the Head, Department, Prof. Godwin Idoro, said, there is urgent need for the government and the citizenry to promote and imbibe energy saving practices, reduce the discomfort and productivity losses arising from incessant power shortage.
