Skyfield hands over 160-bed hostel project

Skyfield Property Development Limited has charged the government to evolve a strategy that would enable people own houses.

The company also lamented that due to the poor state of the economy, real estate business has restricted operations to a few companies.

The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Emeka Ikeh, made the disclosure at the handing over of 160-bed hostel in Yaba, Lagos to Mu Delta Gamma Limited.

According to him, “After a successful 12 months test-run/probation period, which commenced December 2015, Skyfield Property Development Limited is now very confident to formal handover the Apartment to Mu-Delta Gamma Limited as it has fully shown itself capable to function as facility manager on its behalf.”

He stressed that Mu-Delta Gamma Limited will serve as a technical partner, whose concern will be to maintain the infrastructure and ensure that it supports the core activity of the company and the group.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Mu-Delta Gamma Limited, Adewale Ibrahim,  said the short-let service provides unfurnished and furnished rooms with basic amenities such as refrigerators, air-condition, bed, reading table and chair.
