NMRC to open Abuja housing show
THE organisers of annual Abuja Housing show billed to start in the first week of July, has revealed that the Nigerian Mortgage Refinance company (NMRC) flag-off the programme with a session tagged “ Affordable Housing for Nigerians- what does this exactly mean?“ Other notable experts and organizations drawn from various areas of the housing sector expected to be part of the deliberation.
They include Director, other financial institutions of the central bank of Nigeria, Director-General, National Pension Commission (PENCOM), National Insurance Corporation of Nigeria. (NICON), Mortgage Bankers Association of Nigeria. (MBAN) and Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria.
In the event planned between July 6 to 8, the morning session of the day one will focus on land issues comprising some of the state commissioners for housing and Federal ministry of lands and Housing, while the afternoon session will focus on the delivery of standardized and affordable housing which will also look at the issues of building standard off-Takers as well as the supply side of the housing equation (Construction finance).
The Coordinator, 9th Abuja Housing show, Mr. Festus Adebayo, said that communiqué would be issued at the end of the day one of the NMRC day.
Meanwhile, over 100 exhibitors, many stakeholders from every part of the country are set to attend this year Abuja housing show which will be declared open by the vice president, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.
