NAHFIS holds third affordable housing summit in Abuja

Abuja-based Affordable Housing Limited has announced plans to hold the third edition of its Nigeria Affordable Housing Finance and Innovation Summit (NAHFIS) Expo’ from November 13 to 14, 2019 at NAF Conference in Abuja.

The expo will feature expert presentations, panel discussions, round table meetings, stakeholders dialogue, exhibition, housing fair, corporate presentations, networking breaks and lunches. It would also include, scheduled profile meetings, mortgage eligibility profiling, raffle draws, questions and answers session and strategic action plan session.

The Theme of the Summit is “Innovative Solution for Large Scale Delivery of Affordable Housing” while the Sub Theme is “Delivering Affordable Housing Through Cooperatives”.

In a release by the Managing Director/CEO of the company, Dr. Yemi Adelakun, the summit will explore financial, technological and cooperative innovation for rapid delivery of housing at scale, low cost, affordable prices and sustainable financing rates to low and medium income earners in both formal and informal sectors of Nigeria.

NAHFIS EXPO offers business and investment opportunities for developers, contractors, investors, financiers, credit and guarantee companies, proprietary technology owners, building materials suppliers, utilities and infrastructure companies, consultants, venture and equity capitalists, international and multilateral institutions, as well as commercial, investment and mortgage bankers.

According to the organisers, it would also provide opportunities for corporations, cooperatives, housing associations and Labour unions to fulfill the housing and housing finance needs of their members either for rent or on mortgage.

The forum will offer participants opportunities to network with federal and state government functionaries, housing and finance experts, policy makers, regulators, end users’ associations, Cooperative societies, land owners, developers, professionals and other stakeholders for the purpose of finding solutions to 17 million housing deficit in Nigeria.
