Real estate development company – Megamound Investment Limited has entered into a partnership agreement with the Lagos State Government to close the housing gap in the metropolis.

Under the joint venture scheme known as Greater Lagos County Apartments, Megamound is partnering with the government through its agency, the state’s Building Investment Company (LBIC) to build one, two and three bedroom private residences, ranging from 43 to 135 square meters in Surulere.

The project comes as a multi-floor development with elevators that are designed for those who desire a social environment. Price of apartments in the Greater Lagos County ranges from N22 million to N42 million.

Similarly, the company is constructing a 100-unit estate, christened Willcrown Apartments, which is carved out of the famous Kingsbay Estate in Ikota, which is located five minutes drive away from the Chevron oil company headquarters and the second Lekki Toll Gate.

The estate lies within the breezy, ocean- bathed stretch of territory and features uninterrupted 24 hours electricity from standby generators and solar inverter. Each apartment is wired to a Central Water Heating System and Wifi/ Internet facilities, DStv Satellite connection, among others.

Willcrown Apartments blocks are on three floors and comprise one, two and three bedroom house types. While each unit of one-bedroom accommodation in the Willcrown Apartments attracts a minimum price of N24 million, two-bedroom N38.7 million and the three-bedroom N45.4million.

A downward payment of 20 per cent secures an allocation, while the balance may be paid by installments according to the elected payment plan. Mortgage facility can also be accessed by prospective buyers for a seven-year tenor under the Greater Lagos County Apartments and 10 years for Willcrown Apartments.

According to the firm’s Head of Sales & Marketing, Marian Ofen-imu, each apartment incorporates a distinctive design with modern innovation to create homes with unique settings of spacious living. “Some major selling points of the apartments are beautifully conceived interiors, good and functional infrastructure and a serene environment,” he said.
