Firms plan awareness for property portfo

TWO real estate marketing firms have entered into partnership to ensure hitch free property acquisition for Nigerians at home and abroad.

The firms – Messrs OrbitalQ Properties and Hollysaks Properties are collaborating with financial institutions to create a platform, which professionals and the investing public can interface for mutual economic gains.

While OrbitaQ Properties plans to attend to the Nigerian market, Hollysaks Properties will take care of the real estate market in the United Kingdom.
The teams unfolded their maiden property expo recently in Victoria Island, Lagos where they briefed the public on the desirability of their objectives.

The principals of the collaborating firms at the event expressed their desire to ensure that real estate gets to higher level in Nigeria and abroad to the extent that Nigerians have hedge over their e foreign counterparts.

At the event are Chief Operating Officer (COO), OrbitalQ Propertie Oludayo Adeyinka, Busayo Adepitan, Managing Director, Holysaks Properties; and Olanike Adesakin-Forsythe, who covers the UK arm of Hollysaks Properties, Mr. Sunny Oladipupo of OrbitalQ and Mr. Boye Dehinde, the Corporate Affairs Manager of Ogun State Property Investment Company (OPIC), among others.

In his address, Busayo Adepitan, said the firms will bring clients from Nigeria and the Diaspora together and create awareness on the portfolios of the firm on the different properties and developments that are available.

Adepitan said: “We want to create a synergy among key professionals in the industry like the architects, builders, engineers, quantity surveyors, estate surveyors, surveyors, professionals in interior decoration, among others who will work together as one body.”

She said that they have many properties in their portfolio, which make room for joint venture opportunities to be achieved through the expo that would soon be staged.

The COO, OrbitalQ Properties, Oludayo Adeyinka, hinted that the collaboration started about a year ago in order to key into sales and marketing, lettings and facilities management in Nigeria, the UK and Ireland. “At that point, there was need to bridge the gap between investors in property and the professionals who provide the services.

“Besides, our aim is to create a platform on which these professionals can come to know themselves and to synergise and to market on behalf of property developers and assist them to sell properties”, said Adeyinka.

According to her, they are creating this platform for everybody to be aware that there exists a real estate sales and marketing firm of choice.

On the partnership, Olanike Adesakin-Forsythe said: “What I do is to assist Nigerians coming into the UK to invest in property. We look for property for them and we invite them into the UK to view and we go from there with the mortgage.
“We actually work with First Bank and if the buyers are citizens they provide their mortgage. We’ve got brokers and lawyers to use. Our partner, OrbitalQ transfers the customers to us in the UK and we take it from there.”

Giving an assessment of the expo, Mr. Sunny Oladipupo of OrbitalQ said, they want to make it one of a kind in the country and “we are actually looking beyond now. We are actually looking at a situation in the future where most of the property firms in the country will want to partner with us.”

The event was attended by the Corporate Affairs Manager of Ogun State Property Investment Company (OPIC), Mr. Boye Dehinde, and former Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria, Prof. Oladapo Afolabi, who presented the keynote address, expressed satisfaction for the initiative.
