The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, the President/CEO of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote and the Managing Director of Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa are among notable personalities expected to grace the forthcoming Real Estate Investment and Mortgage Finance in Nigeria (REIMFIN) summit scheduled to hold at the Residence Inn by Marriot, Manhattan, New York.

Other speakers for the five-day event scheduled for October, tagged REIMFIN 2018, include the President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria, (REDAN), Ugochukwu Chime, Mortgage Loan Officer, TD Banks (America Most Convenient Bank) Mr. Joseph Siciliano, Comfort Isikumah of Comfort Homes and property Management LLC.

Hosted by Housing Circuit Magazine, the primary objective of the conference is to create investment opportunities for Real Estate and Mortgage Finance Companies and Organizations in Nigeria and in the US.

According to the Publisher of Housing Circuit Magazine, Seun Jegede, experience drawn from our previous international conference, which held at the Cumberland Hotel, Oxford Street, London UK in 2014 informed the need to replicate on a grand scale the need to sell and advertise the unique Nigerian brand to the outside world.

“The Summit is to enable participants gain expert insight into new market trends in the real estate sector of the US and Nigeria and share practical experience regarding global trends in real estate and mortgage financing.

“It is also to provide a niche networking platform for participants who have been carefully selected based on their strategic and leadership positions in their respective areas of business and particularly expose real estate investment opportunities in Nigeria to the outside world.

“Through a series of key speeches, interactive break-out sessions and networking breaks, the Conference will empower delegates with the knowledge and tools required to make the necessary strategic investment decision,” Jegede said.

While Mr. Fashola will declare the conference open, Dangote is expected as the Chairman of the occasion and the Mayor of the New York City, Mr. Bill de Blasio will be the keynote speaker.

Nigeria Ambassador to the USA, Sylvanus Nsofor is expected as the chief host and Senator Gbenga Ashafa as the host/guest of honour. “It promises to further galvanise a robust business relationship among mortgage bankers, real estate developers and prospective home owners,” Jegede added.
