Estate firms seal deal for Lagos site, services scheme

An indigenous real estate company, Diaspora Lakeview Estates Limited (DLE), has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with Thesaurus Gardens Limited to provide Nigerians especially those living abroad with opportunities to invest in landed properties.

An indigenous real estate company, Diaspora Lakeview Estates Limited (DLE), has signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) with Thesaurus Gardens Limited to provide Nigerians especially those living abroad with opportunities to invest in landed properties.

The MOU, which was signed in Lagos is a joint venture agreement to co-develop DLE within the Caribbean Lake City situated along Lekki-Epe Expressway, opposite Crown Estate, Sangotedo Lagos. The project is aimed towards ensuring that all investments of Nigerians living abroad is secured in the country.

According to Chairman of DLE ltd, Prince Williams-Joel, the Lagos State Government had allocated to Thesaurus Gardens Limited 51 hectares of land, from which DLE ltd derives its Title. “This joint venture will seek to improve and restore confidence of Nigerians abroad especially those who have always wanted to invest in Nigeria but have fallen victims to fraudsters and land grabbers popularly known as ‘Omo-Oniles’.

Thus, this agreement will bring about utmost security, trust and peace of mind in the hearts of investors. This innovation will provide an outstanding level of service, excellence, expertise, and security in real estate investment and development. “The Diaspora Lakeview Estate is one of its kind because you do not have to travel several kilometres to purchase a land; we bring the land to your door step, home or abroad, and considering that everyone wants to own a land in Lagos State, the Centre of Excellence, it would be a very good opportunity to invest in this unique offer” he said.

William-Joel who said the estate would also be launched in London, Germany and United States, added that the estate would boast of 24 hours power supply, Internet services, and waterways transportation, amongst others. “It will also be the first CCTV powered estate in Nigeria with 24 hours armed security service and good road network. As part of our goal in offering affordable real estate services, the company is embarking on a Real Estate Promo with a plot of land being sold for only N10 million Naira) as against N12.500 million,” he said.

William-Joel further said clients who buys and make full payment would receive Deed of Assignment and receipt of purchase, adding that preparations are on top gear to make similar arrangements for those interested in developed buildings in Abuja and Port Harcourt, with a comprehensive development of duplexes and blocks of flats.
