Developer unveils new estates

Ahead of the yuletide, Aimart Realtors, a fast growing property company with headquarters in Lagos has slashed prices of land in its estates by 20 per cent to enhance homeownership among Nigerians.

The firm has also put in place flexible payment plans to ease subscribers’ burden, adding that these were done in such a way that everybody could key in with limited money.

Managing Director, Aimart Realtors, a subsidiary of Aimart International Nigeria Limited, Mrs. Bukola Iluyomade, who disclosed this during the firm’s launch in Lagos, said the cut, which runs till January 2019, was part of the activities to kick-start allocation of land to subscribers and to round up end of the year’s sale.

According to her, the firm the was out to change people’s perception about real estate investment and would continue to enlighten people about various prospects in real estate as well as how they could increase their earnings by investing in property.

The estates come with green areas, recreational facilities, infrastructural facilities such as roads, electricity, walk-ways, water supply and drainage system among others.“We have payment plans from three months, six months, one year and nine months. Even if you want to do ‘Esusu’ – daily contribution, we have a structure for it,” she said.

She stated that the mandate is to provide homes that are secured, without land speculators’ challenge, adding the estates have been divided into different zones to accommodate bungalows, mini flats, terrace houses and duplexes.

Allaying subscribers’ fear about real estate, Iluyomade maintained that people did not have correct knowledge and information on how to acquire land and prepare their property hence; the company has taken it upon itself to guide them and also educate them on proper documentations.On the issue of hidden charges, she pointed out that there was nothing hidden about subscriptions to any of their estates, but maintained that subscribers would need to pay for survey, legal and documentation fees.  

“For you to say you have a land and this is the location, you must have a survey plan. You must have your beacons and pillars’ numbers,” she said. Iluyomade hinted that the company has selected four veterans’ filmmakers, Mr. Akintade Ogidan, Francis Onwueche, Lanre Balogun and Tony Afolie, as Aimart’s ambassadors

One of the ambassadors, Francis Onwueche, described the partnership as “a very useful and important,” saying he was glad bringing attention and consciousness of people to the possibilities that exist about real estate.He enjoined Nigerians to make useful investment in matters that have to do with land.
