Towards reducing existing deficit, a Lagos-based developer has kick-started 40-units of affordable housing project in the mainland area for the middle-income segment of the market.

The project developed by Tetramanor Nigeria Limited, has reached advance stage and would be delivered by June 2020.

Some of its unique features include, spacious garden and playground, gym and a mini-basket ball court, supermarket, jogging paths, closed circuit television Vision coverage, car parks, constant electricity, water and security.

Known as TM meadows, the scheme comprises 37 units of two, three and four bedrooms apartment and penthouse.

The company’s Business Development Officer, Mr. Ayodele Akinyoyenu told The Guardian that the proximity of TM Meadows to the Third Mainland Bridge, which is about five minutes, would significantly reduce commute times for those working on the Island.

“Subscribers will enjoy less time in the road, better health and more time with loved ones. For Mainland workers, driving to work and back would be against traffic, hence shorter times on the road. Prospective homeowners are free to propose a payment plan that is flexible and works for intending buyers. We will be glad to discuss either for outright or down payment with prices starting from N22 million”, he explained.

According to him, the firm also offers 75per cent down payment while the home-owner has already moved in, provides six months warranty on all works regarding plumbing and electrical as well as create platform for them to have a say in the estate facility management.

The managing director of the company, Mr. John Beecroft said the firm exist to provide choiced but reasonably priced residential and commercial spaces, with focus on the commercial capital of Nigeria, which is Lagos.

He assured that the company would not compromise standards.

“We will not extort our clients in order to make profit and we will not sell to our clients spaces we are not willing to live in ourselves. Our past projects such as Comfy Burrows in Yaba, TM Gardens in Surulere which are focused on quality speak for themselves”, he said.

According to him, in the quest to deliver state of the art building, materials for the projects are 40per cent locally sourced and about 60per cent imported.
