Cornerstone seals pact with U.S. estate firm

Nigeria’s foremost indigenous housing estate provider, Cornerstone Real Estate Limited, has stepped up its operations, gaining entrance into the United States real estate market, having struck a partnership deal with the largest real estate franchise in the world, Keller Williams Realty (KW).

Under this pact, Now, Cornerstone can buy, sell, lease or manage property for Nigerians seeking such services in any parts of the United States while those who desire to buy, sell, manage their homes or invest in property in the US can repose their confidence on Cornerstone.

Chairman, Cornerstone, Mr. Lanre Okupe, made the disclosure last week, said the deal was in right direction at the right time, which would in turn boost the nation’s real estate market as well as yield good returns to would-be clients.

For now, Cornerstone is developing a 26-units of duplexes and terraces on a four -acre estate in the Oregun area of Lagos with the phase one already completed while the phase II is ongoing. The project is strategically located at the Ikeja end of Kudirat Abiola way, Oregun.

Within the project, there are 14-units of various duplex types comprising of two-units of three-bedroom detached houses with one boys’ quarters; six- units of four-bedroom semi-detached houses with one room boys’ quarter and six-units of three-bedroom terrace houses.

According to Okupe, each duplex, sits on an approximately land area of between 350 and 400 square meters compromising of four bedrooms en-suite and the ground floor space has entrance lobby, foyer, main living room, dinning, kitchen, visitor’s toilet and en-suite guest room as other compliments.

The first floor area includes the family lounge with balcony, two bedroom and the master’s bedroom all en-suite; spacious living and dining areas(s) with exquisite woodwork, well finished wardrobes and kitchen cabinet as well as P.O.P ceiling. It also comprises stainless steel aluminum railings.

Okupe said with 30 percent down payment, the house could be purchased, while the balance is spread over 12 months. Also, the company, which has delivered over 10 residential housing estates across Lagos metropolis and won several awards, has bungalows and serviced plots for sale at its 50-acre Cornerstone Ofada Estate located within the strategic real estate development corridor of Ogun State.worldwide.
