Abia to construct Akwa Ibom link road
Poised to ensure easier access to Akwa Ibom and Abia State, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has pledged to construct a 7.5 kilometre road to link the two states.
The governor, who announced this at the Mega Fellowship of the Aba North District of the Assemblies of God Church held at Assemblies of God church, Ukaegbu Road, Ogbor Hill, Abam promised to build additional 50 roads in Aba.
While assuring that the Akwa Ibom link road will be ready by end of the dry season, Ikpeazu further promise to build a flyover bridge at Osisioma.
He also said that the roads would be built with cement pavement technology.
Ikpeazu recalled that his administration has so far constructed 13 roads in Aba, saying, he could have done more but for the challenges and distractions confronting him since his assumption of office.
Speaking on the theme: “Evidence of Total Restoration”, Ikpeazu pledged to continue to render quality and transparent service to the state.

Please! That is overdue. Your attempts at Aba roads are commendable. Finish Umungasi/Factory/Asa roads to the other end of the Express. Link also Faulks to the Express very solidly. The traffic nightmare of the City will be greatly eased. Apply the logistics used from 7-Deck to Tonymas that was excellent.
