Uzodimma makes minor cabinet reshuffle

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma yesterday carried out a minor reshuffle of his cabinet.

According to a statement by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Chief Cosmas Iwu, the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Kingsley Ononuju, was redeployed to the Ministry of Special Projects, while Simon Ebegbulem moved from the Ministry of Special Projects to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

The governor also removed Okenze Amajirionwu as his Special Adviser on Market and Allied Matters and made him his Special Adviser on Special Duties.

Chief Perry Opara moved from his office as Special Adviser on Special Duties by Uzodimma and made Special Adviser on Market and Allied Matters.
The statement said their redeployment takes immediate effect.
