There is uneasy and palpable fear among commissioners and political appointees in Bayelsa State as rumours continue to make the rounds over alleged plans by Governor Seriake Dickson to reshuffle his cabinet.

There are insinuations that Dickson, who is presently out of the state, had concluded arrangements to dissolve the State Executive Council (SEC) immediately he returns

But in a swift reaction yesterday ‎ the state government dismissed the alleged plans to dissolve the state executive council as wicked.

Commissioner of Information and Orientation, Jonathan Obuebite said the alleged planned dissolution of the state executive was a wicked imagination of some politicians.

Meanwhile, the Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has reappointed six commissioners of the cabinet members that were sacked last week.

He had dissolved the cabinet and thanked the ousted commissioners for their loyalty for the two and half years they served the state government.

Those reappointed include: Funmi Ogun (Works), Bisi Kolawole (Environment), Ayodele Michael (Commerce and Industry), Kehinde Odebunmi (Agriculture), Toyin Ojo (Finance) and Olurotimi Ojo (Health).

Fayose in a statement by his Special Assistant on Public Communications, Lere Olayinka, yesterday directed the six of them to resume at their duty posts today.

The statement said the other commissioners would be appointed in due course, calling on the people of the state to be patient and expect a good team that would deliver the dividends of democracy.
