The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Leader, Bola Tinubu, yesterday, said political prostitutes and robbers denied Senate Leader, Ahmed Lawan the Senate Presidency of the eighth Assembly.

Tinubu stated this during a roundtable themed: “The Imperatives of Building Institutions for Lasting Legacies’ to mark the 69th birthday of Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State.

Tinubu said APC leadership saw leadership qualities in the Senate Leader, which was why it resolved to make him the Senate President, but those he called political robbers and prostitutes denied him, despite Lawan’s consistent progressive stand.
