Ahead the 2019 Governorship election in Ogun State, chairman of Leguru Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Ololade Onakoya, has called for a strong candidate with political competence to continue with the present administration’s agenda of rebuilding the state.

Besides, he said the state needs a candidate who has been in the system, understands the political terrain, and can build on the foundation laid by the incumbent Governor Senator Ibikunle Amosun.

Onakoya, who spoke with the media at the council Secretariat, Atiba, Ijebu-Ode, appealed for continuity in the state, so as to build on what Amosun has started.

He noted that the governor’s visionary leadership is based on sound and holistic view of state’s rebuilding, as an excellent way to bestow his own legacies on posterity.

This, he said, is particularly remarkable and felt in the infrastructural development, which are monumental, and has indeed remained the major contributing factor to the state’s megacity.
