Melaye vows to defeat Bello at Kogi guber poll
A Kogi State governorship aspirant on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Dino Melaye, representing Kogi West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, has vowed to dislodge the incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello from office if he picks the ticket of his party.
Melaye, who spoke at an interactive session with members of the Kogi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) at the Press Centre in Lokoja, said he would defeat Governor Bello with God’s backing and support of the people.
He said that if given the mandate, he would use ideas to expose the state to the outside world, thereby improving the socio-economic well-being of the people.
