Following the crisis in the All Progressives Congress (APC) of Kebbi State over the disappearance of N100 million from the party’s account, the Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Sani Dododo, has resigned.

Addressing journalists in Birnin Kebbi yesterday, Dododo, who said the party leadership lacked integrity and sincerity, exonerated the financial secretary from allegations over the missing money.

“I decided to resign my appointment in order to maintain my integrity and values. I know that the accused, who is the financial secretary, is innocent of the allegation,” he added.

The state caretaker chairman, Bala Kangiwa, said the amount was not up to the claim, urging all to verify information before going to the press.
