Former Speaker of Ekiti State House of Assembly, Dele Olugbemi, yesterday narrated how he took the embattled state Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr. Temitope Aluko to the Sunday meeting with Governor Ayodele Fayose.

He insisted that “it was a lie that Fayose stage-managed the reconciliatory meeting. Aluko and I prostrated for Fayose three times to beg the governor to forgive him (Aluko).”

Olugbemi said he was surprised that Aluko could deny that he willingly attended the parley, adding that his genuine concern for peace made him take the party scribe to the Lagos parley.

“The existing cordial relationship between Aluko and myself brought us to a discussion that eventually led to the last Sunday, April 3, 2016 meeting.

The former speaker said Aluko couldn’t deny that he re-affirmed that Fayose remained his mentor, leader and father, allegedly admitting that his ‘misdeeds’
were devil’s work.

“Even when Fayose told him to sit down, he prostrated and I also prostrated along with him to beg the Governor for total forgiveness,” he added.

But in a swift reaction yesterday, Aluko who dismissed the claim, said: “It is all lies. It is part of the plot to sustain the propaganda against me. Olugbemi is an appointee of the governor in the State Universal Basic Education Board. So, he is doing the bidding of his master.

“I only saw him when he barged into the meeting with the governor. I didn’t have any discussion with him and couldn’t have gone with him to the meeting. He is only being used.”

Hm… The rate at which this game is going could rob off on the innocent people of the state. Something must be done urgently to ensure it doesn’t go beyond the gladiators.

You can see this cultist politicians at their best,Aluko,Odugbemi,Fayose..they all have one common face of devil.
Instead of working for the people that elected them and supported them, they are busy fighting for superemacy.
I have no pity for those that elected Fayose, they argued that he eat Amala with them at Amala joint… Good for them.
As for Mr Aluko, either you prostrate or not it doesn’t count, remember Yoruba adage says “ka dobale fun rara koni kama ga”(meaning…prostrate for a dwarf does not inhibit one tallness!) Shikena.
