A steadying symbol of leadership – Ashafa

Former Governor of Lagos State and current National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has continued to be a steadying hand and symbol of leadership in our dear country, Nigeria, Lagos state, and our party the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Considering how he painstakingly laid the foundation for the development currently being enjoyed in Lagos State, and his strategic role in reaching across the aisle to other political leaders to birth the APC.

There is hardly anywhere you turn to that you will not find a politician that has developed under his tutelage. Over the years, Tinubu has shown nothing short of absolute devotion to the development of our democracy and our country. Every opportunity to celebrate the person and values of such a leader can therefore not be taken for granted by all of us who have had the privilege of knowing and working with him. Happy birthday Asiwaju, we celebrate your leadership and person as you clock 68!

Tinubu is a unique leader who will never be bereft of loyal followership. He has paid his dues by building able lieutenants, who deserves nothing but the support of all for the progress of the country.

Apart from being selfless, a quality “uncommon among political elite”, Tinubu has clearly demonstrated that leadership is all about service. He has always shown leadership by example.

Asiwaju Tinubu has never done anything for selfish motives. He sacrifices personal comfort for the benefit of the society. He will continue to enjoy loyal, faithful and dedicated followership. There no gainsaying in the fact that Asiwaju as a leader sees ahead of others. His lieutenants who took the mantle of leadership as governors have confirmed his ability to groom successors. His dream of taking Lagos to greater heights has become a reality.

There is need for politicians to take a cue from Tinubu by showing genuine commitment to the wellbeing of the society.
