Nigerian elders should speak on Boko Haram

Vice President, Osinbajo

Sir: We must thank God that the Vice-president, Yemi Osinbajo and his co-travellers did not die in the helicopter accident in Kogi State.

Yet I cannot but think of the innocent people being killed in the unjustifiable war against Boko Haram and protection of the Fulani herdsmen terrorists and Osinbajo is comfortable with it all.

When we say President Muhammadu Buhari is the most corrupt and expensive, it is an all round fact regarding his health which led him to be going to London and spending up to more than forty days and more than hundred days before protests in Nigeria and London embarrassed him out of habitual recourse to seeking health and rest in London.

How much altogether did Buhari’s romance with London cost Nigeria? The answer is blowing in the wind, as a top official secret.

Second, Buhari is the worst liability because it took him more than five months after his own inauguration as the President before installing his ministers.

So, what happened in the ministries in about half a year when no minister was overseeing the affairs of the ministries? The answer is blowing in the wind.

Third, Buhari promised to defeat Boko Haram in six weeks, and he repositioned the Army, at the end of which he degraded Boko Haram, the northeast populations, the military personnel, and the economy.

What are the total costs of the war against Boko Haram in human lives and economic resources? The answer is blowing in the wind. Buhari added protection of the Fulani herdsmen terrorists to the war against Boko Haram, ravaging agrarian communities throughout Nigeria.

Can you estimate the costs of the Fulani herdsmen terrorism in human lives and economic resources? The answer is blowing in the wind.

What is Nigeria’s gain as Buhari doubles himself as the Petroleum Minister, increased fuel price from N87 to N145, and he is recovering looted funds without accountability for anything to anybody? Nigeria has gained unprecedented hyper inflation and widespread penury.

Why are all the answers blowing in the wind? It is because there is no accountability. Buhari shrouds everything in secrecy, yet claiming to be fighting corruption oh!

I am appealing for the intervention of the former President and octogenarian Olusegun Obasanjo, and Nigerian elders, nationwide, to help throw light on why the war against Boko Haram that did not attack anybody until attacked by Yar’Adua must not be stopped. Buhari is Nigeria’s most expensive and unaccountable President, Do you concur?
