Governor Maimala Buni of Yobe State has said that the Trucks’ Transit Park (TTP) project in the state will create 5,000 jobs and bridge the infrastructure deficit in the North.

Governor Maimala Buni of Yobe State has said that the Trucks’ Transit Park (TTP) project in the state will create 5,000 jobs and bridge the infrastructure deficit in the North.
The 50-hectare project will have electricity, potable water, access road, and a clinic to meet truck drivers’ health needs.
Buni disclosed this yesterday at the ground-breaking ceremony in Potiskum, 100 kilometres west of Damaturu, the state capital.
He said the park was part of his electioneering promise, which he echoed at a recent town hall meeting.
According to him, the 5,000 jobs and the multiplier effect will create wealth to improve the state’s economy.
