Yobe To Employ 92 Nurses

GOVERNOR Ibrahim Gaidam of Yobe state yesterday approved the immediate employment of 92 nurses who recently graduated from the Shehu Sule School of Nursing and Midwifery (SSNW), Damaturu, as part of strategies to raise the level of health care delivery system in the state.

The approval for the employment was contained in a statement made available yesterday by Yobe State Head of Service, Alhaji Dauda Yahaya, in Damturu.

“The employment of the 92 nurses from this state is with immediate effect, and is aimed at strengthening our health care delivery system in both rural and urban centres of Yobe state,” the statement said.
