Yobe Executive Council okays N777.1m to equip hospitals, schools
The Yobe State Executive Council has approved the immediate release of N777.1 million to equip three general hospitals and five secondary schools to across the state.
The Commissioner of Information, Alhaji Mala Musti, who disclosed this, said N679.38 million was for the procurement and installations of state of the art medical equipment for the hospitals in the three senatorial districts of the state.
He said the hospitals were recently rehabilitated and upgraded to improve the quality of healthcare delivery.
According to him, the state government has pledged to continue to award foreign scholarship to outstanding students.
