The National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) has said it may not be able to conduct this year’s examinations for external students seeking to use the certificate to gain admission into tertiary institutions due the invasion and illegal shut down of its Abuja zonal office by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).

The Principal Legal Officer of NABTEB, Shirley Imandojemu, who spoke with newsmen yesterday, said the SARS action came as a result of an ongoing legal battle since 2013 with a “faceless individual” who claimed through his lawyers that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration had sold the duplex housing the headquarters to him under the Federal Government monetisation policy.
