Moved by the plight of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in Edo State, a team of volunteers, in collaboration with Doctors Health Initiative (DHI) yesterday donated foods and other relief materials to the IDPs in the camp.
Leader of the volunteers, Mary Ekemezie, said their visit to the Uhogua camp in Ovia North-East Council area, was to show love and care to the inmates at Easter.
She appealed for the continuous provision of succor and other relief aids to the persons, in order to improve and uplift the well-being and health conditions of the displaced persons.
