Utomi advocates level playing ground to encourage investments
Professor Pat Utomi has urged Nigerians especially those in authority, to make Nigeria, business and investment friendly in order to attract investors that will stimulate the economy, thus alleviating unemployment and infrastructural decay.
In addition, he charged government at all levels to create a conducive playing ground that would allow said investors establish worthy investment to create job opportunities. Utomi spoke at the commissioning of the new Headquarters of Vista International Conglomerate in Lagos this week. He commended the company for identifying with the nation’s challenges and contributing to her growth without retrenching staff and charged other investors to emulate them.
Ratan Varyani, the Chief Executive Officer, Dev Varyani, Chairman, Akshay Jain, CEO, Sumeru Nigeria Ltd, a subsidiary of the Group, amongst other directors of the Group, expressed their profound gratitude to Nigerians for the warm hospitality and encouragement they have enjoyed since 1989.
Guests at the event included Oba Fatai Aromire, Oba Kabiru Agbabiaka, Chief Fatai Alani Abereijo, Emmanuel Adedeji Ogunbode amongst others.
