FOR the second in time in one month, the University of Calabar has been shut down by members of the Non Academic Staff Union (NASU) and the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian University (SSANU) of the university.
The two associations locked all the gates of the institution over what they termed unfair treatment by the outgoing Vice Chancellor of the University, James Epoke.
NASU-UCB Chairman, Alice Odu said the union members decided to take the action after seven days of warning to the outgoing Epoke administration.
