UNIBEN alumni association awards, dinner hold in Lagos on May 6

This year’s edition of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) Alumni Association, Lagos Branch Annual Award of Excellence holds on Saturday May 6, 2017 at Sheraton Hotels and Towers, Ikeja, at 6.00 p.m.

The theme of this year’s lecture is: “RECESSION AS A CATALYST FOR GROWTH” and it will be presented by a distinguished alumnus and immediate past recipient of the award, Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Fidelity Bank Plc.

The occasion will be chaired by Senator Mathew Urhoghide. According to a statement by the association’s chairman, Emmanuel Oriazuwa, a lawyer, the recipients of this year’s award are Mr Kennedy Uzoka, MD, UBA; Mrs. Regina Ehigiator, Mr. Austin Obi Omovoh, Pharm Onoruoye Ogheneochuko (MD New Heights PharmacyLtd) and Pharm Chukwuemeka Obi (MD Pharmacy Plus Ltd), Mrs. Mary Akpobome (ED, Heritage Bank), Mr Andy Akporugo, Eng. Desmond Odiase, Dr Uche Mbata (MD Vision Plus Ltd), Ms Stella Omagbai (ED, FSDH Merchant Bank Plc), among others.
