UNIBEN alumni applaud Fashola’s appointment

THE Chairman of the Lagos branch of the University of Benin Alumni Association, Emmanuel Oriazuwa, a lawyer, has lauded President Muhammadu Buhari over ministerial appointments, saying “Buhari will succeed if he picks the right people to work with him .”
In his speech at the end-of-the- year party the association had with the children of St Monica Orphanage home in Iju, Agege, Lagos, Oriazuwa expressed delight in the appointment of Babatunde Fashola, a University of Benin alumnus. He added that the election of another member, Matthew Urhoghide into the Senate, was another blessing to the Federal Government. To Oriazuwa, nothing could be better than working with the best brains, which these two University of Benin alumni represent.
The chairman enjoined all alumni of the university to keep the flag flying wherever they find themselves.
Foodstuff, toiletries and drugs were donated to the orphanage home.
The administrator at the orphanage, Sister Josephine Titiloye, thanked the association for the good gesture and enjoined all other well-meaning Nigerians to emulate the kind gesture.
