There was uncertainty yesterday over the state of health of Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari, following rumours that he may have been flown abroad for medical treatment for an undisclosed ailment.

The rumour could not be confirmed at press time, but report of his alleged ill health and being flown overseas was an issue of discussion even among political appointees and elected politicians in Abuja, the federal capital, yesterday.

Not long ago, he was reported to have been suspended for unknown reasons, but he dismissed this when he returned to his desk, indicating that he was on a short leave.
