Umara tasks commissioners on development

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara has tasked commissioners to work towards meeting the peoples desire for socioeconomic development in order to improve their living conditions.

Umara gave the charged in Maiduguri during the swearing in of three new commissioners, who returned to the state last Wednesday, after their pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

The new commissioners are former Attorney General and Commissioner forJustice, Kaka Shehu Lawan, Bello Ayuba and Zuwaira Gambo.

Umara told the officials to gird their loins in order to contribute their quota to the development of targeted sectors of the state’s economy.

He urged them to work assiduously to justify the confidence reposed in them, and also strive to meet the yearnings and aspirations of the people.
