Ugwuanyi replaces burnt bus, tricycles for Enugu fire victims
There was wild jubilation at the Government House, Enugu, weekend, when three victims of the recent fire outbreak at a petrol station in Trans Ekulu, Enugu, whose commercial bus and two tricycles were burnt, got new ones donated by the governor, in fulfilment of his promise when he visited the scene.
The Executive Secretary, State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) Mrs. Nkechi Eneh handed over the bus and tricycles to the victims on behalf of the governor. The beneficiaries, who displayed different dance steps, praised God and thanked the governor for keeping his promise.
They said Ugwuanyi wiped away their tears, and prayed that God continued to grant him success in all his endeavours, especially his victory at the forthcoming elections.The governor had earlier redeemed his promise to other victims of the incident.
