Two House of Representatives members from the ruling All Progressives Congress, Kolawole Babatunde and Mukaila Kazeem, Wednesday dumped the party.

Speaker of the House, Yakubu Dogara, read letters from the lawmakers announcing their resignations from the APC at the plenary.

The duo blamed their resignations on the controversies that marred the APC primaries.

Hon. Babatunde, who represents Akoko South East/South West of Ondo state joined the People’s Democratic Party while the Hon. Kazeem, who represents Abeokuta North/ Obafemi- Owode/Odeda in Ogun state did not name his new party in his letter.
