Turkey president, Erdogan, felicitates with Buhari

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his recovery from an undisclosed ailment that held him down for over 100 days in London, United Kingdom (UK).

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his recovery from an undisclosed ailment that held him down for over 100 days in London, United Kingdom (UK).

A statement signed by Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, and made available to newsmen on Saturday said: “the Turkish leader also exchanged Eid greetings with President Buhari.”

“The two leaders also discussed at length, the forthcoming 9th Summit of D8, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation at the end of October in Istanbul. 
“Mr Erdogan extended an invitation to President Buhari for his participation. President Buhari expressed his gratitude for the good wishes,” the statement added.
