Taraba donates buildings to Army
Buildings to be used as Army Brigade have been donated to the Nigerian Army by Taraba State government.
Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku, while presenting the keys of the buildings, located in Jalingo, the state capital, to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Col. Tukur Buratai yesterday, said that he was optimistic that the establishment of a temporary army brigade in the state would go a long way to scare hoodlums who are presently having field days in the state.
The governor, represented by his deputy, Haruna Manu, said the donation of the buildings was necessitated following the request of the Chief of Army Staff to site a template brigade in the state.
