T. B. Joshua calls demonstrators to be law abiding, denies involvement in Panama Papers
The general overseer and founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua, has called on any labour or interest group demonstrating on behalf of SCOAN for the ongoing court trial, as a result of SCOAN building collapse, to do that under the law.
In statement to The Guardian, Prophet Joshua said God will vindicate SCOAN and his ministry and commended Nigerians who have supported him so far.
Commenting on a news report that links him with the Panama Papers, Joshua said the information carried by the online newspaper is false. He noted that he was shocked to read that the ‘Panama Papers’ revealed a shell company, Chillon Consultancy Limited in the British Virgin Islands, allegedly owned by him.
Describing the report as malicious and misleading, the general overseer of SCON disclosed that the news reporter has an obvious intent to defame his person and ministry, adding that he has no business ventures within and outside the country.
