Sule fulfils 100-day campaign promises in Nasarawa
Governor Abdullahi Sule has fulfilled his 100-day campaign promises to install two-kilometre solar street lights and build eight blocks of classrooms in each of the 13 local councils of Nasarawa State.
The Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Murtala Mohammad Abubakar, told The Guardian yesterday in Lafia that his principal was worthy of commendation given the state’s meagre resources.
He explained that the street light projects, launched in Obi and Nasarawa Eggon council areas some three weeks ago, had been completed.
The aide added that the model solar light scheme would last for between three and four years before their batteries are replaced.
