Stakeholders in the Nigerian Project are set to discuss the way forward at a national forum to explore means of complementing the current efforts of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to reposition the economy.

According to a statement by the organisers, The Nation newspaper, the event with the theme “National Economy: The Way Forward” is scheduled to hold on Thursday and Friday, April 7 and 8, 2016, at the Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja.

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, is expected to deliver a keynote address at the two-day event. The Lagos State governor is expected to play host to other state governors and ministers who are also scheduled to address the forum.

The forum is expected to focus through conferences on the economy while exhibitions are also planned to serve as platform for participating states to focus on “inter and intra-regional competencies” and “national growth through inter-regional co-operations.”
