Some stakeholders in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital during the week called for voluntary slash in the salaries and allowances of political office holders, as one of the ways to bailout the state from its economic crisis.

This called was made at a one-day forum tagged, ‘Citizens Conversation With Elected Public Officials,’ organised by the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Oyo State Directorate in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS), which held at the Conference Centre of the University of Ibadan.
