At a podium debate, entitled “Towards a new leadership for a broken nation” to be chaired by former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Prof Charles Soludo, experts would review the administration of Okpara who was Premier of old eastern region, with a view to recommending them for governance in the zone. A Policy analysis institution, African Heritage Institution, is putting the event together.

Executive Director of the institute, Prof Ufo Okeke-Uzodike told The Guardian that looking back to a prospective future by drawing on the good works of past leaders of the country had become necessary since they were able to pilot the affairs of their various regions with what was obtainable in the areas, as well as built enduring legacies.
