Pro-Chancellor commends FUK lecturers

FORMER Governor of Ogun State and Chairman, Governing Council of Federal University, Kashere (FUK), Gombe State, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, has said he was impressed by the quality of lecturers of the university.

Daniel, who is the first Chairman of the Board and Pro-Chancellor of the university, disclosed this in Kashere while speaking with journalists shortly after inspecting projects in the institution.

According to him: “We have a good and competent Vice Chancellor, good quality of academic and non-academic members of staff and also great potentials in the university.

“I have no doubt in my mind that if some of these things are put together, the university can compete with any other one in the world.”

Daniel, who said that during the council meeting he was made to understand that the university has well-behaved students, advised them to be more serious in their studies so that they can become better leaders of tomorrow in the state or the country.
