Power outage worsens scarcity in Benue
As the people of Benue state have continued to wallow and groan under acute fuel scarcity and erratic electricity supply, many have called on government to put necessary measures in place to end the experience.
Lamenting over the situation, a businessman in Makurdi, Mr Chukweme Ezazo, called for a proactive measure by government to end the fuel crises.
On his part, a senior civil servant, Agera Dura, urged government to fast track efforts in reviving the country’s refineries.
On power supply, Dura wondered what had become of the many power stations built by former President Goodluck Jonathan and called on the Minister of Power, Babatunde Fashola, to explain to Nigerian the issues behind the epileptic power supply.
